Donor checklist
  • Provide accurate expiry date and storage condition.
  • Use sealed packaging when possible.
  • Label allergens (nuts, dairy, seafood, etc.).
  • Do not donate food that has been left in unsafe temperatures.
Transport checklist
  • Keep cold items cold (coolers/ice packs when needed).
  • Minimize time between pickup and delivery.
  • Do not mix raw foods with ready-to-eat foods.
  • Keep vehicles clean and food off the floor.
Recipient checklist
  • Inspect packaging and smell/appearance before use.
  • Refrigerate perishable foods immediately.
  • Consume prepared foods promptly.
