What is a Foodshare Volunteer?
A Foodshare volunteer is a dedicated individual who assists in the critical logistics of food rescue. Volunteers primarily help with **collection and distribution**—picking up surplus food from donors (hotels, markets, bakeries) and delivering it directly to vetted community partners and those in need.
Roles can also include **administrative support**, **tech support**, and **community outreach**. Even a few hours a week can make a massive difference in preventing food from going to waste.
